This is a home visit appointment for existing patients who see me at Active Health or who have had a home visit with me before. This may be for many things - feeding or sleep issues, mental health, growth concerns, developmental worries or times when your little one is unwell.
I have made this option available for when my clinic appointments are booked out for weeks.
Travel fees may apply outside of the Portland/Heywood and nearby areas.
Home Visit - Six Week Check
$190 for 1-1.5 hours
($49 out of pocket after Medicare rebate)
Have you ever felt rushed through your six week check? This is a long, unhurried appointment in the comfort of your own home. You and your baby will both receive a check up, and you will have time to ask all of your questions. We can discuss sleep, settling, feeding, mental health, contraception - anything you like.
For safety reasons, I am unable to provide immunisations in your home visit.

Home Visit - Antenatal Care
$150 for up to 1 hour

Are you newly pregnant and finding it hard to get to clinic for your GP appointments? Are you struggling with fatigue and nausea? Are you juggling other little ones? Have you got lots of questions and want more time with a GP? I have made this option available for when my clinic appointments are booked out for weeks.
To ensure continuity of care, you will need to be a patient of Active Health or become a new clinic patient to access this service.
First Home Visit for New Patients - Breastfeeding and Sleep
$275 for 1-2 hours
($57-$134 out of pocket after Medicare rebate)
This is a personalised, unhurried appointment in the comfort of your own home. In addition to providing lactation support, I offer a complete postnatal assessment of both mother and baby, oral function assessment and help with sleep and settling.
This service includes the offer of 1-2 bulk-billed telehealth video appointments for follow up and ongoing support.

Follow-Up Home Visit - Breastfeeding
and Sleep
$190 for approx 1 hour

This is for families who have seen me previously and need another follow-up appointment at home. This may be for anything you like - perhaps to review your breastfeeding plan, discuss your mental health or further explore your baby's sleep.
All in-home consultations will include a bulk-billed telehealth video appointment for follow-up and ongoing support.

Initial New Patient Telehealth Video Consultation
$265 for 1-2 hours
Medicare rebates apply if you have been seen face-to-face in the past 12 months
This is a great option for families who live too far away for a home visit. Telehealth is perfect for sleep and mental health consultations, but can also be effective for breastfeeding and other postnatal support.
All initial consultations will be offered a short
bulk-billed follow-up telehealth appointment.
Existing Patient Telehealth Video Consultation
$180 for up to 1 hour

This is a good option for families who have seen me before and need further advice or support.
This can be a follow-up to telehealth, a home visit or a clinic visit. This may be for anything you like - perhaps to review your breastfeeding plan, discuss your mental health or further explore your baby's sleep.

If you prefer to be seen in a clinic setting, I offer long appointments at Active Health Portland. I can assist with any perinatal concerns including breastfeeding difficulties, maternal mental health, slow weight gain, unsettled babies, sleep concerns, six week checks and oral tie assessments.
Please bring along your green book and your list of questions and concerns. Siblings and partners are always welcome.
Antenatal Care in Clinic

I love caring for mums during pregnancy, and can provide GP shared antenatal care for Portland and Warrnambool. I have a particular passion for supporting mums with hyperemesis gravidarum (severe morning sickness), previous birth trauma and mental health conditions. All antenatal appointments with me are long, so we can go through all of your questions and concerns. Best of all, you will have consistent care in the post-natal period from a GP you know.

Expecting a baby and wanting to breastfeed? Preparation during pregnancy will help build your confidence and knowledge.
These are long, unhurried consultations packed with information. We will cover what to expect after giving birth, getting started with feeding, breastfeeding positions, pumping, establishing supply, infant sleep and much more. Please make a list of all your questions. Partners are always very welcome.
